South Park and the Do Art Foundation Team Up Downtown

Lots of art has just converged Downtown…  As part of a larger, ongoing Public Art Initiative, South Park and the Do Art Foundation have teamed up with local artist Sheri Neva to overhaul 11 utility boxes in the district.  Inspired by the neighborhood, Sheri painted the boxes using her signature style of abstract microscopic photography to take a closer look at South Park itself.  South Park will host a FREE guided tour on 8/18 from 5pm-8pm across these boxes as well as the new murals (Angelina Christina, Kent Twitchell, Cryptik, Faith47, and more).  Click here for more info on the event and click through for more shots…

The South Park Business Improvement District (BID) is managed by the South Park Stakeholders Group, a coalition of residents, property owners, and businesses who are deeply committed to the ongoing improvement of the South Park district.  Since 2005, the South Park BID has worked to make South Park safer, cleaner and more vibrant for the people who live, work, and visit South Park.  Keep at it!
